We are looking for a seasoned sales professional to join our team – this position will suit an organised, self-starter with a high level of experience of working within the leisure marine industry looking for a fulfilling long term role with very clear prospects and a good balance between work and family life

Key responsibilities

  • Oversee and analyse sales results
  • Meet and communicate with customers to maintain knowledge of current local market dynamics
  • Identify opportunities for incremental sales growth in marine and non-marine markets
  • Develop and initiate new marketing strategies (regularly challenging their efficacy in affecting sales)
  • Work collaboratively with the rest of the GMA team to successfully meet or exceed overall company sales goals
  • Help to further cultivate existing and new US client and European customer relationships
  • Identify potential new clients

Experience required 

  • Has worked within or has a good understanding of marine equipment distribution
  • History of success and progression in other sales and/or marketing roles
  • Experience of sales to both aftermarket and OEM customers
  • Knowledge of a good cross section of leisure marine products
  • Knowledge of European leisure marine markets
  • Understanding of manufacturing processes / product management etc
  • Understanding of product positioning / marketing needs etc
