Despite the current global economic climate Global Marine Associates were kept extremely busy during all 3 days of this, the 21st METS where marine trade professionals from across the globe attended to review the product offerings of more than 1200 exhibitors.

METS is without question the largest marine equipment trade show in the world, and Global Marine’s clients were impressed by the high quality of the visitors they received during the event.

The new products displayed by Glendinning proved very popular, they included the CRM-30 Cablemaster, a shore power handling system specifically designed for the European marine market and
the compact Hosemaster S, recoiling hose reel for use as a deck wash or bathing deck shower.

Marine Dynamics received huge interest in their next generation Sting Ray hydrofoil stabilizers, which are expected to prove extremely popular in all European markets, and FreedomLifts tender lift system captured many distributors attention, even though the physical product was not even on display!

Martin Harding, Managing Director of Global Marine Associates said “We underestimated just how busy we would be at this event, but we were pleased to find so many of our products creating such a buzz”.

Global Marine Associates are independent sales representatives specialising in developing European sales for a select group of clients manufacturing “technical” products.
