Conway, South Carolina based manufacturer Glendinning Marine have recently added to their range of popular Cablemaster shore power cable management products.
Building on their renowned reputation for providing cable handling solutions to the larger boat market worldwide, Glendinning have introduced 2 new systems aimed at builders of smaller boats and at the retro-fit market.
The CRM16 (16amp) and CRM32 (32amp) are retractable cord reel devices specifically aimed developed for European customers – these self-contained “ready to fit” systems, are supplied with 15m of high visibility yellow shore power cable and are fitted with a standard European pin and sleeve type dockside connector.

Both units feature an innovative clutch mechanism that allows the storage reel to “free wheel” making it easy and quick to extract the amount of cable required – a simple press of switch (provided) sees the powerful DC motor (12v or 24v) engage and effortlessly retract the cable and store it on the reel. | |
Designed to be easy to install at any angle in any free space and to be used with or without a Hawse pipe, these cord reels are now available from Glendinning distributors throughout Europe.
