Marysville, Washington – Balmar LLC, the leading manufacturer of onboard DC charging systems
for cruising sail and power boats unveiled a new website design today at www.balmar.net.

The new website includes many new features, including a step-by-step guide explaining “How to
Select a DC Charging System” and an expanded dealer/retailer locator tool. In addition, Balmar is
introducing an electronic product configurator which draws from a database of over 1,800 marine
engines and suggests possible Balmar charging system upgrades for each engine configuration.

“We are striving to de-mystify the process of selecting a DC charging system upgrade” explained
Steve Gamman, Balmar General Manager. “Balmar DC Charging Systems provide many benefits
for boaters employing large battery banks, including faster charging, longer battery life, reduced
genset usage and lower fuel consumption. Our new website and recently released 2016 Product
Guide take the guesswork out of assessing the boater’s need for a charging system upgrade.”

Since its acquisition by CDI Electronics (www.cdielectronics) in June 2014, Balmar has invested
heavily in both the front-end and back-end portions of its business, including a recent facility move in
Washington State. Both entities have served the marine industry over 30 years with innovative DC
charging solutions, outboard ignition components and engine diagnostic software. For more
